Parrot Linux 7.1 started rolling out in February 2026, two months after 7.0. It adds the first AI-oriented offensive tool, new community desktop spins and a newer kernel.
New in 7.1
- MCPwn: a pentesting tool built around the Model Context Protocol for driving LLM-powered security workflows.

- Community spins: MATE, LXQt (aimed at older hardware) and a new ultra-light Enlightenment spin, alongside the default KDE Plasma 6. MATE remains the default on Raspberry Pi.
- GRUB boot fixes for laptops that failed to boot 7.0.
