This policy explains what information parrotlinux.org (“this site”) collects when you visit, and how it is used. It covers this website only. It does not describe the Parrot operating system or any service run by the Parrot project.

Information collected automatically
- Server logs. The hosting provider records standard request data for each page view: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page and the browser user agent. Logs are used for security, troubleshooting and capacity planning.
- Analytics. This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and how visitors find them. Google Analytics sets cookies (for example
_ga) and processes usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location, device type and browser. The reports are aggregated and are not used to identify individual visitors.
Information you provide
This site has no user accounts and takes no payments. If you fill in a form on this site, for example a comment form, the information you enter is stored together with your IP address and is used only for that purpose.
